In the poem , "The Road not Taken" by Robert Frost, the poet choose one road that was less travelled. Once a time , he was given an opportunity to choose between two roads and he looked towards the end of the one road till it's end and chooses the other one. This other road was little grassy and less travelled or it appears to him because as soon as he reached one point both the roads looked same to him. Both the roads were  equally untravelled.

He kept the other road for another day as he wanted to come back to this joint some time latter and enjoy travelling the other road. However, he knew he won't be able to come back later to the other road and that has made all the difference. So, the poet doesn't returned to the starting point after having doubts.
