Differences between cortical nephron and juxtamedullary nephron are:

1. Glomerulus is present on the upper side of the cortical region whereas, glomerulus is present near the medulla region.

2. Cortical nephron composes 85% of the region whereas, the juxtamedullary region only contains 15% of the region.

3. Glomerulus size is small in the region of cortical nephron whereas, glomerulus size is large in the juxtamedullary region. 

4. Loop of Henle is present in small in size in the cortical region whereas, loop if henle is large and deep in the juxtamedullary region. 

5. In the cortical nephron region, the rate of filtration is slow whereas, in the juxtamedullary region of the nephron, the rate of filtration is high.
