SOLUTION:

1500 warriors have food for 45 days.So they consume food for 15 days then 500 warriors leave 

So there are 1000 warriors in ship food for 1500 warriors for 30 days is left .

So ,\ 1500(30)=1000(x)\ \Rightarrow x=45 days

So 1000 warriors have food for 45 days.
