Subject: Summer Vacation

Dear Vijay,

Hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. It has been a while since we last met. I miss our school days before you went to Hyderabad. I was missing you, hence I decided to write to you. 

My school just opened a few days ago. It was a long summer vacation and I had loads of fun. School did not give me much holiday homework this time, so I completed it in the first two weeks. For quite a while, my family has been planning a holiday. These vacations were just the right time. We decided to go to Kashmir, specifically Srinagar and Gulmarg. We went via plane and stayed in Srinagar for two days and explored the beautiful landscapes. Srinagar in summer is a vision. But due to global warming, during the day, it was warmer than usual. Then we booked a SUV car and went to Gulmarg. Gulmarg has beautiful tree tops and the snow peaks were beautiful. We stayed in a hotel there for two days but I wished we could extend our stay there because the place was just that beautiful. Anyways, that was the highlight of my vacation. I did meet my friends and relatives during that period. My vacation was really fun. 

After coming home, I did my holiday homework which was not much. I was done with it in just a few days. My summer vacation went really pleasant and well.
