Simple Present examples I eat, We eat  thus, here verb eat is used in simple, single form.

In present continous tense, examples are I am eating, We are eating. In it is/am/are is used with verbs and ing is added to it.

In  present perfect, examples are I have eaten, He has eaten. Here, has/have is used with third form of verb.

In perfect continous, examples are I have been eating, He has been eating. Here, has/ have is been used with third form of verb.

 

In simple past tense, examples are I ate, he ate. The  second form of words is used.

In past continuous tense, examples are I was eating, We were eating. Here, was, were is used with ing form of verb.

In past perfect tense, examples are I had eaten, She had eaten. Here, third form of verb is used with had.

In past perfect continous tense, I had been eating, We had been eating. Here, had been with the first form of verb and ing is used.

 

In simple future tense, examples are I will eat, He will eat. Here, will with first form of verb is used.

In future continuous tense, examples are I will be eating, He will be eating. Here with will be, first form of verb with ing is used.

In future perfect tense, examples are I will have eaten, we will have eaten. Here, will and have is used with third form of verb.

In future perfect continous tense, examples are I will have been eating, We will have been eating. Here, with will, have and been first form of verb with ing is used.
