                   Essay on Travel and Tourism

Travel is a word which is used when we go from one place to another. It is used when we move from one location to another becauese of various reasons . The reasons could be for the purpose of occupation, entertainment, migration,  pilgrimage, medical reasons, visiting a relative , change in house address or due to various other reaons. Travelling can be a hobby or a necessity. People can travel ones in a while , occasionally, regularly depending in their lifestyle and choices. Travelling can b done by walking or through different modes such as rickshaw, auto , metro, car, bus , aeroplane  or using animals.

Tourism is a form of travelling which is done with the purpose of entertainment. In this, a person travels long distances through car, bus , metro and goes the another location usually a very popular one for the purpose of entertainment, buisness,  and relaxation. People stay at these tourist spots in hotels and resorts. Generally people prefer going to hilly areas , beaches, remote locations inside and outside the country.  Thus, people move out if their environment and go to other places to refreeh themselves for a period of less than and equivalent to one year. 

The act of Tourism can be broadly divided into various other categories such as Recreational Tourism in this most tourist travel for rest and change. Environmental Tourism is about visiting places with better environment and  green location free of polllution to boost their health. Historical Tourism is about visit to historical places such as ancestral land, home, heritage locations, temple , churchs and museum. Next is ethnic Tourism , here people travel back to places where they are born or their families liled , their roots. Cultural  Tourism is aimed at knowing about other people's culture  and to acquire knowledge on how they survive, they live. Wild life tourism is about watching animals in their natural surroundings.
