Solution:  We have ,

                  y=fracx^2-1x^2+x-2

      For domain  x^2+x-2 eq 0Rightarrow x eq 1,-2

                 Domain:  R--2,1

  Now ,do the cross multiplication ,as we have done eariler.

                 yx+2y=x+1Rightarrow x(y-1)=1-2y

                    x=frac1-2yy-1   Range :R-\frac23,1
