Find the value of K if x=2 and y=1 is a solution of the equation (k-2)x + 4y = 10. write the coordinate of the point where the graph cut the yaxis

Answers (1)

Given (k-2)x + 4y = 10

Put x=2, y=1

(k-2) 2 + 4x1 =10

k-2 = 3

k=5

Now equation 3x + 4y =10

When graph cut y-axis x=0

4y = 10

y = 10/4 = 2.5

So the point when graph cut y-axis is (0,2.5).
