Happiness classes should become a part of school curriculum. In this competitive age, where a student has been burdened with a load of syllabus. The student is always under the stress to score better. This takes a toll on their mental health as pressure to perform well induces anxiety. It is time we talk about such issues. Instead of scoring well, a student should focus on learning new things, automatically they will score well. We need to stop comparing children among themselves. This creates unhealthy competition. Happiness classes could be a place where students can talk freely about their worries with their group of peers guided by a counsellor. Such exchange of thoughts will help children be more empathetic towards each other. Especially, teachers and parents should stop comparing children and their marks. They should celebrate their individuality and talents.
