Fats are digested in the small intestine. The bile juice secreted fro the liver helps in the breakdown of fats from large molecules into the smaller molecules. The bile juice also helps to provide n alkaline medium so that the pancreatic enzymes containing lipases can further convert fats into fatty acids.
