To clear a thermocol clog from a CPVC pipe. We can start by using a plumbing snake, flexible rod, or wire to push or break the clog slowly. If that doesn't work, then try to use air pressure from a compressor or a high-pressure water jet to force it out. Don't use fire or heat, as CPVC melts, or chemicals like acetone, which will dissolve thermocol but also soften the pipe. In the event of a deep or hard clog, the best solution may be to cut the pipe at the clog point and then manually removing the thermocol, and then rejoin the pipe with proper CPVC joiners and solvent cement.
