best_answer

An earthworm moves using circular and longitudinal muscles bristles called setae. The earthworm push setae out of its body to grab a soil around it and to move forward, it anchors setae to the front of its body. Longtitudinal muscles helps earthworn to contract and shorten its body to push the movement.
