3 digit no divisible by 6 are 102,108,114,.....,996

So for this AP 

a=102 and common difference=d=6 & last term=a_n=996 where n= no of terms

then using 

a_n=a+(n-1)d\\ 999=102+(n-1)6\\894 = (n-1)6\\ n= 150
