To check if a number is divisible by 4, divide the last two digits (number formed by the digits at one's and ten's place) by 4. If the number formed is divisible by 4 then the three digit number will also be divisible by 4.

For instance, in 316, 16 is divisible by 4. Accordingly, 316 is also divisible by 4.

 

To check if a number is divisible by 3, add all the digits of the number, if the resulting number is divisible by 3 then the original number is also divisible by 3.

For instance, 336

3+3+6=12

Since 12 is divisible by 3, 336 is also divisble by 3.
