Answers (1)

(i) Malus's Law ; Intensity of completly plane polarized light when transmitted by an analyzer is proportional to the square of the  cosine of angle between transmission axis of analyzer and polarizer
I= I_{0} \cos ^{2}\theta

ii)

(iii) By Brenesters law
   M= \tan i_{B}
         = \tan 60= \sqrt{3}
