Solution:   We have,    ax^2+bx+c=0

                   sinalpha +cosalpha =-b/a  and  sinalpha cdot cosalpha =c/a

         Hence,     (sinalpha +cosalpha )^2=b^2/a^2

        Rightarrow        sin^2alpha +cos^2alpha +2sinalpha cdot cosalpha =b^2/a^2

       Rightarrow          1+2(c/a)=b^2/a^2    Rightarrow   a^2-b^2+2ac=0
