Dear Diary,

Yesterday, I went to my friend Zainab’s house. It was her birthday so our group of friends decided to plan a surprise party for her. Johan, Sarah and Akhil brought the decoration and I baked the cake for her. Jannat took her out of the house to lure her away from the surprise. Around evening, they got back home and all her friends and family surprised her. She was crying happy tears and it felt nice she liked our surprise. She hugged us all. After that she cut the cake and we had delicious food which we ordered online. It felt good to celebrate someone’s birthday together after so long. All the girls stayed the night at her house. We watched a horror movie before going to bed. I came back home the next morning.
