In Figure-8, find the area of the shaded region where a circular arc of radius 7 cm has been drawn with vertex O of an equilateral triangle OAB of side 14 cm as centre.

\\\text { Area of shaded ragion = Area of the traingle + Area of the circular arc} \\=\frac{\theta}{360^{\circ}} \times \pi \mathrm{r}^{2} +\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} \mathrm{a}^{2} \\ =\frac{ 300^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}} \times \pi \times 7^{2} +\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} \times 14^{2} \\\\ =128.28+84.87 \\\\ =213.15 \ \mathrm{cm}^{2}
