The story Journey by Night is written by Norah Burkey. The story is about a male child called Sher Singh, his younger brother Kunwar Singh, his mother and father Sher Singh Bahadur. His father was given the title of Bahadur because he fought many wild animals in the jungle on his own. He was a very famous hunter and helped many people because of which his father became very popular, he used to spend his time outside in Jungle. Sher Singh was also like his father who showed courage by saving his brother's life. He was there for his mother and brother at the time of need, this shows that he was a good son. He carried his sick brother to the jungle meeting in way many dangerous animals like elephant, cobra. He got scared by the noise of many birds and animals and even with their footprint such as of tiger. Despite of all this he continued on his journey. He even crossed the river with strong current while carrying his brother on his back while keeping his back above water. He finally reached the hospital and  was able to provide his brother treatment facility. All this shows that he was courageous like his father.
