List five differences between kharif and rabi crops?

1.Rabi Crops - these cros are sown at the end of the monsoon and the beginning of the winter. There are also called winter crops.

Kharif Crops -  these crops are sowed at the starting of rainy season. They are called monsoon crops.

2. Rabi Crops - flowering require a long day length.

Kharif Crops - flowering require a short day length.

3. Rabi Crops - these crops require a warm climate for seed germination and cold climate for growth.

Kharif Crops- these crops require a lot of hot weather and water to grow. They depend on rainfall.

4. Rabi Crops- the harvesting months are March, April.

Kharif Crops- the harvesting months are September and October.

5. Rabi Crops- examples of these crops are mustard, wheat, cumin and coriander .

Kharif Crops- examples of these crops are rice, bajra and groundnut.
