The point of view with which the poem (road not taken) has been written is the poet's choice of choosing one road over another. This choice of his road has made all the difference to his life as he thought that one day he will come back to the second road, the one he has not taken. He thought he will go back and choose the other road at earlier time. However, with time he realised that he has to continously choose one thing over another in his journey throughout his life. One choice leads to another and another to some other road. Thus, he was where he was and whatever he was, was a result of his choices. He regretted and often wonder about what would have happen, if he has taken some other choice.
