Our neighbourhood

The term neighbourhood is used in two sense. First to indicate your locality and surrounding. Second to tell about your neighbours and people who live close by or near by. The term neighbourhood thus means thing, people in your surroundings that are close to you.

In my neighbourhood, there is a big park. This park has many birds like sparrow, crow, pigeon, eagle and various tiny birds. Sometimes you can see cuckoo, duck, swan and peacock also in the park. Sometimes animals like cow, dogs and cats can be seen in the park along with various insects. People daily do yoga, walking, running, morning exercises in the park. They workout in park also. Thus, the park is home to many birds, animals and insects along with people. 

Our neighbourhood has a hospital, a  schools, a mall and a market, a bus stand and a metro station nearby. The hospitals, schools and malls are very big in size and are well maintained and good in infrastructure. The market is very big with shops for buying food, clothes,  shoes, mobile phones and jewellery. It has many people daily coming in and going. The bus stand and metro stations is nearby. There are 10 buses that travel through my bus stop and goes to various  parts of Delhi. The metro station is also connected to green line, red line and blue lines.

Our neighbours are also very friendly. They belong from different communities, religions and cultures. We all celebrate all festivals such as holi, diwali, dusshera, Christmas and Id together. Other than this Makar sankranti, teacher's day, new year and various fasts and festivals are also celebrated in community hall. It is thus a pleasing and quiet neighbourhood where people from different community live together.
