If students are not encouraged to participate in such a good initiative taken by the school, then the first step the teachers should do is to mandate the attendance of the plantation drive. They could also give participants extra marks which will be later added into the curriculum report. School should give out pamphlets boasting the good points of the plantation drive and about trees itself.
