Animals are beautiful creatures who are living beings. They respire, need food, water, home, care, affection and excrete like us. They have same needs as us and also certain rights but not duties unlike us humans. This gives the onus of responsibility on us humans to protect the wildlife of our ecosystem. Animals are as important to our society as other living and non living things or biotic and abiotic components such as plants and air, water and heat. Animals maintain the balance of environment and ecosystem and are an important part of our food chain. Animals provide us with various useful things such as wool, silk and food items such as honey, milk and eggs. Animals like dogs also provides us security and animals like cats, rabbit, cow, buffalo, donkey help us by providing us comfort, help in transport and other services. Thus, keeping in mind how beneficial animals are for us and are environment we should take steps towards conservation and preservation of  animals and wildlife of our local environment, state and of our country.
