The 2014 FIFA World Cup took place in Brazil. It was the twentieth FIFA World Cup. It's schedule was from 12 June to 13 July, 2014.Men team participated in football world cup.A total of thirty one team participated in this competition. A total of sixty four matches were played.  It was the second time when Brazil was chosen as the hosting country of this world event. The first time when Brazil became the hosting country was in 1950. A total of twelve venues were used for playing sixty four matches. Also, it was the fifth time that these competitions were organized in South America.This tournament was won by Germany in the finals. Their match was against Argentina. The delightful match was filled with moments of awe, pleasure and cry and even extended to extra time. The winning goal was done by Mario Gotze. Argentina came second, Netherlands secured the third position and Brazil the fourth position.
