Preventing and delaying the use of drugs in Adolescents is a critical, national public health goal. The simplest way to lower the number of people taking drugs by these children is to lower the human and societal cost of drug abuse. Accidents, addiction, criminal involvement, damaged relationships, impaired judgment, and lost educational or employment opportunities were common. We have heard of reports where young people stole their mother’s ornaments to buy drugs. Besides, ruining an addict morally, it also affects him physically. Drug abuse may negatively affect the kidneys and the brain. Harmful drugs attack the nervous system. It causes loss of appetite, brings drowsiness all the time, and saps one’s strength and stamina. The govt. Must use all the media to propagate against the consumption of the drugs, police must act fearlessly to act upon such people who are responsible for drug trafficking. Drug abuse is a worldwide problem in the modern world. It means the habit is forming gradually which can be taken for pleasure or excitement. Youth and teenagers are more prone to become the victims of drug abuse. Thousands of men and billions of dollars are involved in drug traffic. That is why it is so difficult to keep it under control. Drugs are smuggled into India from many countries. Drugs are generally prepared from opium and other harmful substances and chemicals. This intoxicating evil is introduced in the market under various names. The Parents must pay more care and attention to their children.
