RBCs ( Reb blood cells) are the cells. However, the absence of nucleus is an adaptation of RBCs for its role to contain more hemoglobin and  therefore, carry more oxygen molecules (In this case they are four oxygen molecules). It also allows the cells to have its distinctive bi-concave shape which facilitates diffusion.
