Bronchi or bronchioles are the main passageway to the lungs. When an organism inhales air, the air is firstly carried tot he left and right bronchioles. Bronchi are divided into two subparts that are primary secondary and tertiary. Primary bronchi are located in the upper portion of the lungs, with secondary bronchi near the center of the lungs. Tertiary bronchi are located near the bottom of these organs, just above the bronchioles. No gaseous takes place takes place in any of the bronchi. If, bronchi become swollen due to any kind of infection that would result in the difficulty in breathing and also can lead to severe heart problems and allergies.
