Good morning esteemed principal, teachers and my dear friends. Today, I will be speaking on the topic “Importance of morning assembly”. School is not only an institute to receive our education from but also is a temple of learning. Just like we pray in a temple or a mosque or any other religious place, assembly is somewhat similar to it. The whole school gathers in a particular place to remember God in the morning. We start by singing the national song, followed by singing prayers and chanting the gayatri mantra. After that, students recite news and thoughts for the day and the assembly is concluded by the national anthem. Assembly disciplines us as it starts and finishes at a particular time which all must follow. It encourages students to participate and showcase their talent to the school. It also helps us celebrate unity and companionship of the school as teachers from different departments, students from different classes gather together for a singular purpose. Everyday, morning assembly brings us something new to look forward to. At an early age, it teaches students to stand prim and proper in the assembly so that not only do we look fresh but also feel fresh. Morning assembly is a crucial part of the learning experience in school. It gives you a moment to reflect and a sense of calm before the day begins. Morning assembly is a ray of light to start our day with. Let us all be thankful for it. You have been a kind audience. Thank you.
