 Good morning to the esteemed principal, teachers and my dear friends. Today, I Vishal will be talking about the misuse and mismanagement of electricity. Electricity has been around decades now, but it still remains a luxury. What I mean by luxury is that the people of urban areas    have accessible amount of access to it while the rural is far behind in such development. But the city people have forgotten its purpose which is to provide comfort and light in our homes and areas and misuse it. People forget to switch of basic lights, fan and a/c when not in use. Some people in summer use a/c 24/7 which is a misuse as well as bad for your health. Trivial things like switching off the charging port or switching off the exhaust fan is often ignored which leads to extra bill payment and then you keep on wondering how you used so much of units of electricity. Mismanagement and misuse of electricity is an exploitation as we are lucky enough to have access to it while some villages still light fires in their homes for light. People should aware about switching off electrical appliances when not in use. You can switch open the windows and switch off the lights during day time. You can buy appliances which don’t require much power and use electricity efficiently. Electricity is hard to produce as it takes up finite resources like coal but there is a solution to this. We can switch to solar energy as sun is an infinite resource. Solar energy initially is costly but in the long run it is a cheaper option than buying electricity from companies. We should train and educate ourselves and others about its management and avoid its misuse. What we save today will be used for tomorrow. Thank you.
