Snell's Law -

For a given colour of light and for given pair of media, the ratio of sine of angle of incident to the sine of angle of refraction is constant. This is known as snell's law.

^{A}\mu _{B}=\frac{\sin i}{\sin r}=constant

Absolute Refractive index - It is refractive index of a medium with respect to the vaccume.

Absolute Refractive index =\frac{Speed\; of\; light\; in\; vaccum}{Speed\; of\; light\; in\; optical\; medium}=\frac{C}{V}
