Laws of Refraction -

(i) The incident , normal and refracted ray all lie in the same plane.

(ii) The ratio of sine of angle of incident to the sine of angle of refraction is contant. This is also known as Snell's Law.

        \frac{\sin i}{\sin r}=constant
