Solution: Let tk denote the kth term of the series . then

\ tk=1/k(1+2+3+4+........+k)=1/k(k+1)k/2=k+1/2\ \ Rightarrow Thus, ;S=1/2[2+3+4+......+21]=10/2(2+21)=115
