The Day My Result Was Announced In Quarantine

I gave my 10th board examinations when the fear of corona was at its peak. I am lucky as I was able to give all my exams before the lockdown in India. But the wait for result was tiring and agonising. With the rising cases of covid-19 during that time, also delaying of the school session made me anxious as I feared that this year would go to waste because I was hanging in between classes. I was neither officially passed from class 10 nor was in class 11. Finally the most awaited result was announced, today which is 15 July 2020. I was confident that I would pass the exams but the fear of passing maths remained. Thankfully, I secured 89% which I was happy with. I was crying happy tears when I saw my marks. I scored a 95 in English which was highest in our batch. I was relieved that I passed the maths exams with 75 marks which I feared the most. I celebrated my success with my parents and siblings at home. I cooked my favourite white sauce pasta and mom made some kheer. I thanked the lord that I am safe, healthy and am at home.
