Solution: We have

a + b = 4      — ( 1 )

a - b = 2      —   ( 2 )

From Equatio  1 & 2  we get

a = 3  & b = 1

  x + 3 y - 3

= 0

Now

x + 3 y = 3

( x / 3 ) + ( y /1) =1    

   

This is the Required line
