Vivek: Hey man. Did you know that Raj got food poisoning from eating the veg roll from the canteen that day?

Salman: Hey. No I didn’t. I was going to buy that for myself but now I won’t. 

Vivek: This is the 10th student with whom it has happened. Previously, I even had an upset stomach when I ate the canteen food . I had even complained to the canteen’s In charge but they didn’t do anything. Now, the sick cases are going up, I am going straight to the principal’s office. 

Salman: I think first you should write all the complaints to him. That way, it will be a formal and written complaint. Also, you can get the signatures of the victims of the canteen's food.

Vivek: I think you are right. The students that I have talked to said that the canteen food sometimes tasted spoiled, so they threw it away. We pay a good amount to purchase it and still get such a bad product.

Salman: I only buy the canteen food when I forget to bring my lunch or when my parents are sick and are unable to cook the food. 

Vivek: I understand. It's the same case with me. I have never seen the cooking staff wear any gloves or aprons. I have seen them washing and chopping the vegetables on unhygienic surfaces. We could contract deadly diseases from such consumption. 

Salman: I think in the letter, we could write some suggestions regarding this matter.

Vivek: Yeah, we can suggest there to be a superior who monitors the school canteen’s functioning and hygiene. Also, they should mandate the use of gloves and aprons, and should be given a proper cooking staff’s uniform and they should only use fresh ingredients.

Salman: Yeah. Let us go and write to the principal about this.
