The probability that a leap year selected at random will contain 53 Sundays is

Answers (1)

In a leap year, there are 366 days with 52 weeks and 2 odd day.

So these two days are = { (Sunday, Monday), (Monday, Tuesday ), (Tuesday, Wednesday ), (Wednesday, Thursday ), (Thursday, Friday ), (Friday, Saturday ), (Saturday, Sunday ) }

Hence the probability of getting 53 Sundays = 2/7.
