N_g = 3/ 2\\\\ N_w = 4/3

Absolute refractive index

= speed of light in vacuum / speed of light in medium

Speed of light in glass = 2 \times 108 m/s

speed of light in vacuum = 3/2 \times 2 \times 108 m/s

                                          3 \times 108 m/s

speed of light in water =

\frac{3 \times 108 m/s}{4/3}\\\\ = 2.25 \times 108 m/s
