The resistance of 100 W bulb is less than resistance of 40 W bulb. Explain the reason

As power ratings and Resistance of bulbs are related as P=\frac{V^2}{R}

where V is the voltage

So if V=constant for the both the bulb

then we get P \ \alpha \ \ \frac{1}{R}

Therefore higher the resistance, lower the power.

A 100 Watt Bulb has higher power than a 40 Watt Bulb.
