What advantage over an aquatic organism does a terrestrial organism have with regard to obtaining oxygen for respiration ?

The aquatic organisms have to depend on the oxygen dissolved in water and that is very low in concentration, adapting to this the breathing rate of them are very high. 

While the terrestrial organisms take oxygen from the surrounding environment which is rich in concentration and hence their breathing is slow.
