What happens when a Red Blood Cell is kept in concentrated saline solution?

When RBCs are kept in a concentrated solution it is said to be hypertonic because water will move inside to the outside of the cell because concentration of the solution is higher than the concentration of an inside of a cell due to which RBC will get shrink.
