Haemoglobin is the main respiratory pigment present in RBC that binds O_{2}. It comprises 4 subunits each containing an atom bound to haem group Haemoglobin deficiency leads to Anemia.

If haemoglobin is less, O_{2} carrying capacity of blood decrease and result in fatigue, less in weight etc.
