Human nervous system is the system that controls voluntary and involuntary actions of a human being and transmits signals between different parts of the body. It consists of two main parts that is CNS (Central Nervous System) and PNS (Peripheral Nervous System). The CNS contains the brain and Spinal cord whereas, PNS contains mainly of nerves which are long fibers that connect the CNS to every other part of the body.
