Answers (1)

best_answer

Homophones are two or more words that sound similar but have an entirely different origin, spelling and  meaning.

For example- No and know. Both are pronounced the same way and sound the same but have entirely different meanings.

Some examples of homophones are - new and knew, rain, reign and rein, rose (flower) and rose ( past form of rise) etc.
