Pecten is a comb-like structure usually found in the blood vessels of a choroid in the eye of a bird. Pecten is non-sensory, pigmented that projects into the vitreous humor from the point where the optic nerve enters into the eyeball. Apart from birds, pecten can also be found in some reptiles.
