Self-pollination is a type of pollination which occurs when the pollen from the anther one plant gets deposited on the stigma of a same flower or either on the stigma of other flower but of the same plant. Examples of self-pollinating plants include wheat, barley, oats, rice, tomatoes, potatoes, apricots and peaches.
