best_answer

A voice of a verb in grammar tells about the relationship between the action of the verb and what it expresses and the participants identified by its arguments like subject obeject, etc. You can identify the voice of a sentence by a verb. An active voice can be identified when the subject is the agent or do-er of the action. Example: The dog ate the pigeon. The subject "dog' is perfoming the action of the verb in the sentence.

In Passive voice, the subject is not do-er of the action. The focus is on the action in passive voice. For example: The pigeon was eaten by the dog. Here the Subject 'Dog' is not performing the action unlike the above example.
