A person is considered to be myopic if he can see nearby by or close objects but is unable to see the objects placed far away.

A person is considered to be hypermetropic if he is not able to see nearby or close objects but can see distant objects.

Causes of hypermetropia - 

  1. The long focal length of the eye lens
  2. The eyeball has become too small

 

The correct hypermetropia eye, the person has to use spectacles of a convex lens.
