The conjurer 's revenge is a short story written by Stephen Leacock. This book was written before twentieth century. The story is about a magician who do wonderful tricks and magic to amuse people. His clothes, his way of dressing, his way of talking all is to impress people. He tries a lot of magical things to entice the audience while one person who was identified as quick man in the story keeps on spoiling the show by commenting that the magician might be hiding these things somewhere in his jacket, pocket and inside the furniture. Thus, spoiling the fun and excitement of everyone in the audience. This irritated the magician as he was not enjoying the show himself and making people to also doubt the magician. Later, the magician took his revenge by taking for trick and also breaking the man's gold watch, spectacles, collar and handkerchief. He smashed these things with man's permission as part of some Japanese technique.
