Who is B.N Rau?

Sri Benegal Narsing Rau was an Indian civil servant, diplomat and statesman. He was the Constitutional Advisor to Constituent Assembly in formulating the Indian constitution in 1946. He was born on 26 February 1887 in Madras presidency of British India. Rau also assisted in drafting the early constitution of Myanmar.
